Geely's FY11 is expected to compete with Tesla's Model 3
Geely to roll out 6 new models in 2019, report says
Automotive News China | 2019/1/25

Geely Automobile Holdings plans to launch sales of six new products, along with up to 10 freshened models, a Chinese website reported, citing company CEO An Conghui.

The Geely brand will introduce its first multipurpose vehicle, the Jiaji, in March, followed by a full-electric crossover, the FY11, in April, An told  Cheshi,   a Beijing auto website, in an interview this week.

The FY11 is based on the compact vehicle platform Geely developed with Volvo Car Co. It will compete with the Tesla Model 3, according to the website.

In the second half of the year, the Geely brand will launch another crossover, the SX12; Geely¡¯s premium brand Lynk & CO will also introduce a fourth product.

Details are not available on the new Lynk & CO model or the other six new models Geely plans to launch this year.

Despite a slump in December sales, Geely¡¯s annual deliveries advanced 20 percent to top 1.5 million in 2018, solidifying its position as the largest domestic Chinese carmaker.

Geely is headquartered on the east China city of Hangzhou and listed in Hong Kong. Its parent Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. also owns Volvo Car Corp.
