Ford's Greater China sales chief to step down after brief stint
Automotive News China | 2018/12/11

Henry Li, Ford Motor Co.s vice president for marketing and sales in the Greater China region, is leaving the company for health and family reasons at the end of December, Ford China said.

Li joined Ford in May. In July, he was also appointed president of the national distribution services division, a unit Ford created to oversee marketing, sales and after-sales service for Ford-badged passenger vehicles in China.

Li, an auto sales veteran in China, was previously vice president for Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Co., the sales arm of Mercedes-Benzs joint venture with BAIC Motor Co.

Ford has not named a successor for Li. In the interim, Joseph Liu, Fords vice president for marketing and sales for China, will act as head of the national distribution services division, according to Ford China.
