Automotive News China | 2017/12/5

SHANGHAI -- International Automotive Components named Daniel Linder vice president of its China operations.

Linder succeeds Yang Qiu Ming, and he will be based in IAC¡¯s regional headquarters in Shanghai.

Linder, 53, previously was president of Key Safety System¡¯s passive safety division in North America. Linder also oversaw Key Safety¡¯s launch of a steering wheel factory in Mexico.

Prior to joining Key Safety, Linder worked in Asia with Visteon Automotive and Yangfeng, a Chinese producer of interior trim. He began his career with Ford Motor Co., where he spent 14 years in manufacturing and product development.

IAC, which is based in Luxembourg, produces door panels, headliners, instrument panels and consoles. Last year, the company¡¯s global sales totaled $6 billion (39 billion yuan).
