Dealerships started selling certified used Volvo cars.

Volvo opens certified used-car business in China
Automotive News China | 2015/3/17

Volvo Car Corp. launched its used-car business in China last week to expand its operations in the market.

Dealerships in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Guangzhou have begun selling certified used Volvo cars, the company said.

The Swedish car brand also has signed up six Chinese e-commerce websites to sell used Volvo vehicles online.

The company plans to expand its used-car business to another 10 cities by the end of this year. By the end of 2016, it aims to launch the business in all provincial capitals and municipalities in China.

Volvo is a relative latecomer to this market segment in China. Audi, BMW and Mercedes already have launched certified used-car operations, and nearly all international mass-market brands have done so, too.

In the first two months, Volvo new-car sales in China edged up 3.7 percent year-on-year to 10,691 units.
