Great Wall's Haval H6, the top selling SUV in China.

SUV prices continue to fall in October
Automotive News China | 2014/11/25

SUV prices continued to decline across China last month as automakers stepped up launches of new SUVs -- especially compact models.

In October, prices of SUVs produced in China dropped 2 percent year on year, while prices of imported SUVs slumped 7 percent, according to the National Development and Reform Commission, China's price regulator.

Prices of microvans -- inexpensive all-purpose vehicles built mainly by Chinese automakers -- decreased 2 percent year on year in October.

While prices of domestically produced sedans remained unchanged, the average price of imported sedans rose 3 percent.
